Episode 11 – Charmander – The Stray Pokémon

              
On their way to Vermillion City, Ash, Misty, and Brock find a lone Charmander sitting on a rock. Ash tries to capture it, but the pokeball will not work on Charmander. Pikachu communicates with the Charmander and finds out that this Charmander has an owner somewhere who instructed it to wait on the rock. Our friends are concerned for the Charmander which does not appear to be very healthy, but continue on to the Pokémon Center after deciding it would be best if Charmander’s owner cared for it. At the Pokémon Center, our friends watch a rainstorm outside and wonder if the Charmander is still waiting. They overhear Damian, a young trainer, laughing about how he told his weak Charmander to wait on a rock and that the pokémon was probably still waiting there for him to return as he promised. Our friends go out into the storm to find the abandoned Charmander before his tail flame goes out!
